The SVICC in Pailles came alive on 1 November 2025 as Mobilis Auto officially launched Jetour in Mauritius. The event brought together dignitaries, industry guests and the Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Osman Mahomed, in a polished evening that balanced energy, excitement and optimism. Under the theme Drive Beyond, the launch marked Mauritius joining the first wave of Jetour’s global expansion.
The launch was more than a car reveal, it was a celebration of ambition and progress. Mobilis Auto introduced Jetour as a brand built around people as much as products, aiming to raise service standards while keeping ownership within reach for Mauritian families. The team spoke of transforming expectations in the local market through reliability, trust and aftersales care, combining global quality with local excellence. The evening’s energy and polished presentation reflected a shared confidence that this was the start of something lasting.
Jetour International Vice-President Andy Yan shared the brand’s broader philosophy, built around its Travel Plus lifestyle concept. Jetour’s ambition goes beyond selling cars, focusing instead on connecting technology, travel and comfort in a way that enriches everyday journeys. With operations in more than 90 countries, the company sees Mauritius as a forward-thinking market ready to embrace modern mobility.
Four models were unveiled, the X70 Plus, Dashing, T1 and T2, each designed for different driving needs, from city life to adventure travel. Prices start around Rs1.49 million and peak near Rs2.7 million, placing Jetour in the mid to premium SUV segment where demand has been steadily growing.
A standout feature of the launch was Jetour’s strong ownership programme. Buyers benefit from a ten-year or one-million-kilometre engine warranty, five years of vehicle coverage and a five-year service plan. The new Jetour Privé app and concierge service further enhance peace of mind, offering emergency assistance, digital service booking and exclusive event invitations, a first for the local market.
Minister Osman Mahomed congratulated Jetour and Mobilis for their confidence in Mauritius, noting that such investment reflects the market’s resilience despite recent tax adjustments. He highlighted the government’s focus on managing congestion, pollution and road safety, acknowledging that the private sector plays a vital role in promoting sustainable mobility.
The launch of Jetour marks a confident new chapter for the Mauritian automotive landscape. It blends global innovation with local understanding, offering buyers an accessible route into premium quality and ownership assurance.
